Front Street, Train Crew’s House #2, ink on watercolour paper, 2017.

This is another historic building that is on the register. This is called Train Crew’s House #2 and is located downtown by the river on Front Street. It was used for crews who used to work on the White Pass and Yukon Route, the railway that ran from Skagway, Alaska to Whitehorse. There are tracks left around town, but the train only goes as far as Carcross now. For more info, click here. I didn’t realize before, but all the historic houses have a plaque on them with a number and an H. I drew it in on this one.
